Temporary field project for merchant data collection in Bahamas and Cayman
Visit small businesses on your island, speak briefly with the owner or manager, and collect accurate business information on a company-provided device. This is field research, not sales — nothing is sold and nothing is signed.
Key details
• Locations: Bahamas and Cayman
• Pay: USD 17–20 per hour
• Length: 15 days, with a possible extension of 1 to 2 weeks
• Hours: 8 hours per day, on foot, Monday to Friday
• Reports to: Island coordinator
What the role involves
Each morning, you receive your route and zone from the coordinator. You then visit businesses one by one — including small shops, market stalls, restaurants, salons, corner stores, and service providers — and complete one record per visit.
Each record must include business details, contact information, how the business operates today, a photo of the premises, and the owner’s interest level. Records are reviewed the same week, so accuracy and completeness are essential.
Performance targets
• 7 businesses visited per day
• At least 95% complete, error-free records
• Photo taken on 100% of visits
• Same-day submission of records
• Daily report sent to the coordinator
What is provided
• Company device with a data plan
• Uniform and ID badge
• Printed materials to leave with businesses
• Paid training at the start
• Daily route and field support
After the 15 days
Successful field reps who meet targets and handle business owners well may be shortlisted for future campaigns and coordinator roles.
