- Job Seekers: Only list skills, experience, and credentials you actually possess. Misrepresentation harms the reputation of the entire Caribbean talent pool.
- Employers: Provide accurate job descriptions and be transparent about salary ranges and job requirements (our Salary Intelligence works best when data is honest).
2. Zero-Tolerance for Scams
We manually verify every listing. If you encounter any of the following, report it immediately:
- Requests for “payment” to apply or for “training materials.”
- Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) schemes.
- “Check cashing” or “reshipping” scams disguised as remote work.
3. Communication Standards
- Treat others with respect in the messaging system.
- Discrimination based on island of origin, gender, religion, or any other protected status is strictly prohibited and may result in an immediate ban.
4. AI Best Practices
When using our helpdesk bot or Smart Match tools:
- Use clear, professional language for the best results.
- Do not attempt to “jailbreak” our AI systems or provide sensitive personal data that is not required for your profile.
5. Global Mindset, Local Pride

6. Monitoring and Enforcement
SmartJobLinks LLC reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to monitor content and interactions on the platform.
- Manual Review: We manually review listings and reserve the right to remove any listing or suspend any account that violates these Guidelines.
- Reporting: Members of the community are encouraged to report suspicious listings, fraudulent behavior, scams, or unprofessional conduct directly to our moderation team.
- Sanctions: Violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of access to SmartJobLinks LLC services without refund.
7. Limitation of Liability regarding Professional Fit
SmartJobLinks LLC does not guarantee employment outcomes or candidate performance. While our tools (including Smart Match and Salary Intelligence) provide helpful insights, the final determination of suitability and hiring decisions remains the responsibility of employers and candidates.
8. Amendments
SmartJobLinks LLC reserves the right to update these Community Usage Guidelines at any time to reflect changes in our services, Caribbean labor markets, or legal requirements. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
