General Labourer/Handyman

Source: Skilled Guyanese The Labourer / Handyman is responsible for providing general maintenance, repair, and support services to ensure the office facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role includes performing minor repairs, assisting with office setup and relocations, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting daily facility operations. Responsibilities • Load, unload, move, and store materials, equipment, and supplies. • Clean and maintain work areas, buildings, yards, and facilities. • Carry out manual tasks such as digging, lifting, sweeping, and material handling. • Collect and dispose of waste and debris safely. • Operate basic hand tools and equipment as required. • Assist with grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, trimming, and landscaping. • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures. • Assist with stock movement and inventory organization. • Work cooperatively with team members to complete assigned tasks. • Perform any other related duties assigned by management. Requirements • Ability to perform strenuous physical work. • Secondary school education or equivalent. • Ability to follow instructions and work safely. • Good teamwork and communication skills. • Reliable and punctual attendance. • Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
