Role Description The Retail Store Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Courtyard by Marriott Nassau, Junkanoo Beach in Nassau. This role is responsible for providing customer-focused service in the hotel’s retail area, welcoming guests, answering product questions, and processing transactions accurately. The associate manages stock levels by receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise, and helps maintain attractive, clean, and well-organized displays that align with brand standards. Daily tasks include handling cash and electronic payments, monitoring inventory and assisting with stock counts, and resolving basic customer concerns or referring complex issues to supervisors. The role also involves collaborating with other hotel departments to support guest needs and contribute to a positive overall guest experience.

• Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experience and handle guest inquiries with professionalism.
• Basic to intermediate inventory management skills, including stock handling, replenishment, and product organization.
• Clear and courteous communication skills for interacting with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Previous retail, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and basic computer use.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
