Hiring company: MF Hack Trading Enterprise Source: LinkedIn Guyana SENIOR OPERATIONS & CONTROLS MANAGER MF Hack Trading Enterprise is seeking a highly disciplined, detail-oriented and experienced senior professional to strengthen operational control, accountability and execution across our growing business. This is a senior management role for someone who is confident holding staff and supervisors accountable, identifying weaknesses, enforcing procedures and ensuring that operational standards are followed consistently. STARTING SALARY: G$500,000 NET PER MONTH Higher compensation may be considered for an exceptional candidate with the right experience and track record. ROLE OVERVIEW The Senior Operations & Controls Manager will work closely with the Managing Director and will have responsibility for reviewing, verifying and strengthening operational processes across warehousing, inventory, receiving, dispatch, cash controls and general business operations. The successful candidate must be highly observant, methodical, firm and uncompromising when it comes to accuracy, accountability and proper procedure. This role is not simply about managing people. It is about ensuring that the business operates correctly, mistakes are identified quickly, root causes are established and corrective actions are actually implemented. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Enforce operational procedures, controls and accountability across the business. • Conduct regular and random checks of inventory, warehouse operations, receiving, dispatch and cash-handling processes. • Investigate stock discrepancies, operational errors and recurring control failures. • Require clear explanations and corrective actions for material mistakes. • Verify physical inventory against POS and inventory records. • Review receiving, counting, storage and dispatch procedures to ensure accuracy. • Monitor whether supervisors and managers are properly performing their responsibilities. • Identify recurring employee or departmental errors and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken. • Develop and strengthen internal control procedures where weaknesses are identified. • Follow up on management instructions and ensure assigned actions are completed properly and on time. • Maintain clear records of discrepancies, investigations, corrective actions and recurring issues. • Work closely with Operations, Finance, HR, Sales and senior management. • Provide direct, objective reports to the Managing Director on operational weaknesses, risks and staff performance. CANDIDATE PROFILE We are looking for someone who is naturally disciplined, highly attentive and uncomfortable with unexplained discrepancies or careless work. The ideal candidate should be: • Highly accurate and detail-oriented. • Firm, confident and comfortable holding others accountable. • Strong enough to challenge supervisors and managers when standards are not being met. • Calm and professional, but uncompromising on accuracy and procedure. • Able to investigate problems independently and determine their actual root cause. • Strong in follow-through and capable of ensuring corrective actions are completed. • Organised, systematic and capable of maintaining strong documentation. • Able to work directly with the Managing Director in a fast-growing entrepreneurial business. EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: • Operations management • Internal audit or internal controls • Inventory control • Banking operations • Manufacturing or quality assurance • Logistics and distribution • Warehouse management • Risk or compliance Experience in a highly controlled environment such as banking, manufacturing, logistics, large-scale distribution or auditing would be a major advantage. Previous experience supervising staff and enforcing operational standards is strongly preferred. REPORTING STRUCTURE • Reports directly to the Managing Director. • Will have authority to independently review operational processes and performance across departments. • Will work closely with existing managers, supervisors and department heads.
