Teachers & Salaried Workers Co-operative Credit Union Limited (TSWCCUL) invites applications from suitably qualified and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Human Resources Administrator.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and operational support for the efficient delivery of the Credit Union's human resource functions. The incumbent will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, leave management, training coordination, payroll support, and compliance with human resource policies and procedures.
This position requires a highly organized and confidential professional with strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files and HR records.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews, corresponding with applicants, and preparing recruitment documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new employees.
• Assist with employee separations, exit interviews, and offboarding processes.
• Administer employee leave records and monitor vacation, sick leave, and other leave entitlements.
• Support payroll administration by maintaining employee data and preparing HR-related payroll information.
• Coordinate employee training, development initiatives, and staff engagement activities.
• Prepare employment letters, contracts, confirmations, disciplinary correspondence, and other HR documents.
• Monitor probationary periods and assist with performance review administration.
• Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employment matters.
• Assist with benefits administration, including pension, insurance, and other employee programs.
• Generate HR reports, statistics, and workforce information as required.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
• Perform other duties consistent with the nature and level of the position.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
• An Associate Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline. A Bachelor's Degree would be an asset.
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a Human Resources or administrative support role.
• Sound knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and employment legislation.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Compensation
Salary consideration for this position starts at B$22,500.00 per annum and will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and demonstrated competencies.
