Position Summary
The Executive Assistant is expected to provide comprehensive administrative, organizational, and executive support. The incumbent will be responsible for managing priorities, coordinating communications, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring the efficient operation of the Office of the General Manager.
This position requires a highly professional individual with exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct administrative and executive support to the General Manager.
• Manage and coordinate the General Manager's calendar, appointments, and meetings.
• Screen, prioritize, and manage incoming correspondence, telephone calls, and requests for attention.
• Prepare letters, reports, presentations, meeting agendas, minutes, and other business documents.
• Conduct research, compile information, and prepare briefing materials for meetings and presentations.
• Track assignments, projects, and action items on behalf of the General Manager and ensure timely follow-up.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings and maintain appropriate records and documentation.
• Liaise professionally with employees, members, regulators, vendors, and other stakeholders on behalf of the General Manager.
• Maintain confidential records and information while exercising a high level of discretion.
• Assist with the planning and coordination of corporate events, meetings, and special projects.
• Support the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives as directed by the General Manager.
• Perform other duties consistent with the nature and level of the position.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
• An Associate Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Management, or a related discipline. A Bachelor's Degree would be an asset.
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience providing executive or senior-level administrative support.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Compensation
Salary consideration for this position starts at B$30,000.00 per annum and will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and demonstrated competencies.
