Lead Banquets Server

Serve food and alcoholic beverages to guests. Answer questions regarding menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu inquiries, wait times, orders for recooked food, and product availability. Meet cycle time standards for all meals. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day. Communicate any special food orders, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of china, glassware, and silverware before use. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned tables, including ensuring tables are cleared after each course and crumbs are removed. Communicate with guests and other employees and ensure staff work as a team to guarantee optimal service. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure that both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain the privacy of company-owned information; protect its assets. Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team in achieving common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds (11.25 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Assist in moving, lifting, transporting, and placing objects weighing more than 50 pounds (22.50 kg). Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or during the entire work shift. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., fine print). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination. Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting at the waist, dragging, and leaning. Move on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs. Climb and descend stairs and/or service ramps. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with other people using clear and professional language; answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette. Listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns.
