We are seeking a strategic credit professional to support our Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) portfolio of clients, where you will serve as a trusted advisor delivering exceptional credit experiences to our most valued clients. In this role, you will lead deep-discovery conversations to understand clients' sophisticated credit needs, analyze tailored solutions, and provide expert credit advice that strengthens and grows their relationship with RBC. You will be responsible for proactively managing credit renewals, ensuring portfolio quality through sound financial acumen and adherence to lending guidelines, while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of each client's evolving financial position. As a key member of the Client Relationship Team, you will enable a One RBC enterprise approach by identifying opportunities to introduce clients to complementary solutions, specialized partners, and capabilities across our wealth management platform. This position demands strong expertise in both personal and commercial lending, exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams. You will combine financial rigor with strategic thinking to deliver best-in-class credit solutions that reflect RBC's commitment to excellence and position our UHNW clients for long-term success. What will you do? • Deliver exceptional client experience following all five principles of the Black Card Experience to deepen and grow clients’ credit relationships with a superior, professional, best-in-class credit experience, enable and nurture a One RBC enterprise relationship by introducing clients to the right solutions, partners and capabilities. • Lead credit discovery delivering best-in-class structuring advice by understanding client fundamentals (market position, strategy, financials, risk profile) and developing innovative structures that meet and exceed expectations while staying aligned with client objectives. • Partner with the Private Bankers to proactively identify and assess credit growth opportunities, expand wallet share, and deepen client relationships, leading the end-to-end credit process, from opportunity assessment and structuring to adjudication, ensuring efficient approvals, timely funding and portfolio quality adherence. • Take ownership of structuring competitive, tailored credit solutions for new money requests. Leverage deep understanding of clients' full financial picture and credit strategy to deliver best-in-class recommendations aligned to their needs and circumstances • Collaborate closely with Group Risk Management to align with RBC’s risk appetite and policies, serve as the primary contact with Group Risk Management, ensuring accurate, well-structured and balanced recommendations that contributes to the team’s sales objectives. • Ensure credit and portfolio quality - proactively manage credit renewals by submitting files within deadlines and maintain credit and portfolio quality through a sound understanding of policy, lending guidelines and the client’s financial position. • Collaborate with colleagues and internal partners to deliver seamless solutions that strengthen RBC’s competitive position. What do you need to succeed? Must-have • Undergraduate degree, ideally in Banking, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field or experience. • Minimum of 5 -7 years proven combined credit experience in personal and commercial banking, including an understanding of risk assessments, financial statement analysis, credit structuring solutions and deal presentations. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to design innovative credit solutions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal partners. • Superior client relationship management skills Nice to Have: • Proven knowledge and understanding of RBC Private Banking financing products, credit/risk procedures, guidelines, and standards • Masters in relevant discipline What’s in it for you?
