Job Description As a Claims Specialist at Hedge Fund Consultancy, you will process claims and damage cases daily in the investment fund and financial services environment. You will capture and review claim documents, prepare case files, and ensure that all relevant information is complete and accurate. You will work closely with internal departments, external partners, and clients to clarify claims, respond to inquiries, and document facts transparently. Additionally, you will support the preparation of reports, analyses, and presentations for ongoing proceedings and internal decision-making processes. This position is full-time, on-site only, and based in Kingston, Jamaica. Qualifications • Technical Expertise: You ideally have knowledge in finance or law, such as investment funds, compliance, contract law, or claims settlement. • Analytical Skills: You bring strong analytical and research capabilities to structure complex matters systematically and provide well-founded assessments. • Communication and Collaboration: You communicate clearly and precisely in writing and verbally, and enjoy working cooperatively with various stakeholders. • Organization and Attention to Detail: You handle confidential information carefully, work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, and reliably meet deadlines. • Additional Requirements: A completed degree or comparable qualification in finance, business, or law is advantageous; strong English language skills (written and spoken) and proficiency with standard office software are expected.
