Job Description As a Claims Specialist at Hedge Fund Consultancy, you will process claims and damage cases on a daily basis within the investment funds and financial services sector. You will record and review claim documentation, prepare case files, and ensure that all relevant information is complete and accurate. You will work closely with internal departments, external partners, and clients to resolve claims, address inquiries, and document facts transparently. Additionally, you will support the preparation of reports, analyses, and presentations for ongoing proceedings and internal decision-making processes. This position is full-time, on-site only, and based in Kingston, Jamaica. Qualifications • Technical Expertise: You ideally have knowledge in finance or law, for example in investment funds, compliance, contract law, or claims management. • Analytical Skills: You possess strong analytical and research capabilities to structure complex matters systematically and make well-founded assessments. • Communication and Collaboration: You can communicate clearly and precisely in writing and verbally, and enjoy working cooperatively with various stakeholders. • Organization and Attention to Detail: You handle confidential information with care, work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, and meet deadlines reliably. • Additional Requirements: A completed degree or comparable qualification in finance, business, or law is advantageous; strong English language skills in speaking and writing as well as proficiency with standard office software are expected.
