Job Description As a Claims Specialist at Hedge Fund Consultancy, you will handle claims and damage cases on a daily basis within the investment funds and financial services sector. You will record and review claim documents, prepare case files, and ensure that all relevant information is complete and accurate. You will work closely with internal departments, external partners, and clients to resolve claims, address inquiries, and document facts transparently. Additionally, you will support the creation of reports, analyses, and presentations for ongoing proceedings and internal decision-making processes. This is a full-time position, performed exclusively on-site, located in Kingston, Jamaica. Qualifications • Technical Expertise: You ideally have knowledge in finance or law, for example in investment funds, compliance, contract law, or claims handling. • Analytical Skills: You bring strong analytical and research abilities to structure complex matters and make well-founded assessments. • Communication and Collaboration: You can communicate clearly and precisely in writing and verbally, and you enjoy working cooperatively with various stakeholders. • Organization and Attention to Detail: You handle confidential information carefully, work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, and reliably meet deadlines. • Additional Requirements: A completed degree or equivalent qualification in finance, business, or law is advantageous; strong English language skills (spoken and written) and proficiency with standard office software are expected.
