Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, service-driven professional to join its team as Client Relations Supervisor. This leadership role is responsible for strengthening relationships with existing loan, deposit, and merchant-services customers, while ensuring they receive comprehensive and personalized financial solutions. The successful candidate will guide the Relationship Management Team, support business growth and promote an exceptional customer experience. Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: • Provide leadership, coaching and ongoing support to the Relationship Management Team. • Coordinate training and development to strengthen the team’s product knowledge, customer engagement and operational effectiveness. • Assess employee performance and promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Build Meaningful Client Relationships: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Elite, Institutional, Preferred and Professional Programme clients. • Manage the account-opening and onboarding experience for loan, deposit, and merchant-services customers. • Serve as a trusted banking partner by understanding clients’ financial needs and connecting them with suitable products and services. • Deliver personalized financial-planning sessions to clients, prospective customers, and members of the wider community. • Support customer-retention programs and initiatives designed to deepen relationships and build long-term loyalty. Deliver Tailored Financial Solutions: • Provide guidance and support to clients seeking solutions across the Bank’s range of offerings, including: • Savings accounts, fixed deposits, debit and credit cards, cash-secured loans, personal loans and lot loans; • Merchant services and personal financial planning; • Retirement and estate-planning solutions, including life insurance, trusts, and wills; and • Investment solutions, including mutual funds, brokerage accounts, managed accounts, retirement savings, education savings, and investment plans. • Prepare and submit loan applications for existing customers enrolled in the Bank’s Elite, Preferred, and Professional Programmes. Drive Business Development and Brand Engagement: • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and the Bank’s products and services. • Support sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, and other business-development activities. • Participation at presentations, seminars, client events, and community-outreach initiatives. Champion the Client Experience: • Oversee the administration of dormant and deceased accounts. • Manage the Financial Centre’s customer complaint process, ensuring concerns are addressed professionally, fairly and promptly. • Resolve inquiries and support efficient service delivery. • Ensure client records, requests, and transactions are handled accurately, confidentially and within established service standards. Promote Compliance and Operational Excellence • Ensure adherence to the Central Bank of The Bahamas’ AML/CTF/PF Guidelines, Fidelity’s Financial Crime Policy, established risk-management procedures and internal requirements. • Maintain sound operational controls and encourage consistent compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures. • Provide coverage for the Client Relations Manager, Client Relations Associates and designated Business Development roles when required. • Support the Financial Centre Manager during the Client Relations Manager’s absence and assist with other operational priorities as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry. • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience supervising, coaching, or leading a client-facing team. • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite programs. • Ability to work in a self-motivated environment with little supervision. • Ability to manage the administration of multiple tasks. The supervisor builds lasting client relationships, resolves complex concerns, identifies appropriate banking solutions and referral opportunities, and supports business growth through outreach and sales initiatives. They also ensure that account opening, loan applications, and other client activities are completed accurately, promptly, and in accordance with the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
