This role establishes and drives a positive working environment and focuses on exceeding Guest satisfaction. This position ensures that all beverage products and services are delivered as per operating standards. The Assistant Beverage Manager supports the Beverage Manager in all operational aspects of beverage products and services to ensure the Destination performance objectives, KPIs, Guest and Team Member Satisfaction, and other key results areas consistently meet and exceed the targets. This position leads by example and requires exemplary organization, attention to detail, excellent Guest and Team Member engagement, training, knowledge of the product and service standards. All duties and responsibilities are performed following Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Brand Standards, the Royal Way philosophy, policies, and SOPs, public health, safety, security, and environmental guidelines. Ideal Qualifications: • A High School Diploma or higher. • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in very high volume bar operations preferably in an upscale hotel or cruise ship with at least two - or all inclusive volume resorts. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, tips, proportions, percentages. • Good knowledge of varying brands and quality of liquors, wine, and beers, and quality service standards • Demonstrated aptitude for the financial aspects of a bar operation, including revenue, cost control and inventory. • Knowledge of Beverage Handling Procedures, Public Health, Guest Service, and Problem Resolution. • Ability to navigate within the Internet, MS Office, E1, Medallia, Amos, and Crunchtime. • Previous exposure to international environments is strongly preferred. • Ability to manage an international Team in a positive and productive manner by motivating and developing the Team. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, attention to detail and ability to work under stress and tight deadlines. • Successfully passes ServSafe training within the first 30 days of contract.
