The company is seeking an accomplished Senior Vice President, Hospitality Asset Management to provide enterprise-level leadership across its hospitality portfolio. Based in the Caribbean, the SVP will serve as the senior ownership representative for the company's hospitality investments, with responsibility for maximizing long-term asset value, profitability, brand equity, guest satisfaction, and competitive positioning across the portfolio. This is a highly visible executive role encompassing luxury hotels and resorts, residences, food and beverage operations, major capital programs, and future hospitality developments. The SVP will work closely with global hotel brands, management companies, development partners, investors, and public and private destination stakeholders to ensure the portfolio consistently delivers exceptional financial and operational performance while setting high standards for service excellence, innovation, operational discipline, and luxury guest experience. The role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and provides leadership to an established hospitality asset-management organization, including five direct reports as well as additional Vice Presidents and Managers. The Mandate The Senior Vice President will lead the company's hospitality asset-management strategy and ensure that each investment continually evolves to meet the changing expectations of luxury travelers, residents, owners, and guests while maximizing long-term profitability and value creation. Key responsibilities include: • Serve as the senior ownership representative for the company's global hospitality portfolio and provide strategic oversight of luxury hotels, resorts, residences, F&B operations, and future investments. • Develop and execute asset-management strategies that maximize long-term asset value, profitability, cash flow, brand strength, and investment returns. • Establish rigorous performance expectations and accountability across financial, operational, commercial, brand, service, and guest-experience metrics. • Build and maintain highly effective relationships with global hotel brands, operators, management companies, development partners, and other strategic stakeholders. • Review and challenge operating plans, budgets, forecasts, commercial strategies, and performance initiatives to ensure alignment with ownership objectives. • Identify opportunities to enhance asset value through repositioning, renovation, redevelopment, operational improvement, brand strategy, and new investment. • Provide ownership leadership for complex, high-value CapEx programs, major renovations, expansions, and repositioning initiatives. • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders through the planning, design, development, and execution of major capital projects and ground-up hospitality developments. • Work with internal and external legal, financial, development, and hospitality resources to negotiate hotel management, operating, brand, and related commercial agreements. • Evaluate operator and brand performance and lead strategic discussions regarding performance improvement, contract negotiations, renewals, extensions, or changes in operating arrangements. • Partner with senior leadership on potential acquisitions, developments, partnerships, and other hospitality investment opportunities. • Provide the COO and executive leadership team with clear recommendations regarding portfolio strategy, capital allocation, investment priorities, performance, and risk. • Develop and lead a high-performing hospitality asset-management team as the company's portfolio continues to grow. • Represent the company with key public and private destination stakeholders and contribute to the continued advancement and competitiveness of the Caribbean island's tourism product. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be a seasoned hospitality ownership, investment, asset-management, or development executive with a proven track record across sophisticated luxury hospitality assets. The ideal profile will include: • Approximately 15+ years of progressively senior experience in hospitality, hotel ownership, asset management, investment, development, or a related discipline. • Significant experience overseeing luxury or upper-upscale hotels and resorts, preferably across multiple markets. • Demonstrated success representing ownership interests in relationships with leading international hotel brands and management companies. • Strong understanding of hotel operations and the economic drivers of luxury hospitality, including rooms, F&B, residences, ancillary revenue, commercial strategy, and guest experience. • Proven experience overseeing significant CapEx, renovation, repositioning, and/or ground-up development projects. • Experience with hotel management agreements, brand agreements, operating agreements, development agreements, or related commercial negotiations. • Strong financial and investment acumen, including hotel budgets, forecasting, valuation, underwriting, capital allocation, and investment returns. • Experience leading senior professionals and multidisciplinary teams. • Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder-management capabilities. • International experience and cultural fluency. Experience in the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, or other international luxury markets would be advantageous. • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; an MBA or relevant advanced degree would be an advantage.
