Head of Corporate Finance — Insurance & Investments

Hiring company: TheHiveCareers Source: LinkedIn Job Summary The Head of Corporate Finance will lead the organization's corporate finance strategy across insurance, investments, capital management, financial planning, treasury, and strategic investments. The role will provide senior leadership on capital allocation, liquidity, funding, financial performance, investment strategy, M&A, risk-adjusted returns, and long-term financial growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute corporate finance strategy aligned with business and investment objectives. Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling. Oversee capital structure, capital allocation, liquidity, and treasury management. Evaluate and manage investment portfolios, asset allocation, and investment performance. Support insurance balance-sheet management, solvency, reserves, and capital adequacy. Identify and evaluate M&A, joint ventures, strategic investments, and corporate development opportunities. Conduct investment and financial analysis, including valuation, due diligence, ROI, IRR, NPV, and scenario analysis. Manage relationships with banks, investors, asset managers, insurers, reinsurers, regulators, auditors, and other financial institutions. Develop financial strategies to optimize risk-adjusted returns and shareholder value. Monitor market, interest-rate, credit, liquidity, and investment risks. Lead corporate finance reporting and present strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board, and Investment/Finance Committees. Establish financial controls, governance frameworks, policies, and performance KPIs. Lead and develop the corporate finance, investment, treasury, and financial analysis teams. Ideal Candidate Profile 12–15+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment management, insurance, banking, asset management, or related financial services. Proven senior-level experience as Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Finance, Director of Corporate Finance, VP Finance, CFO, Head of Investments, Investment Director, or equivalent. Strong combination of corporate finance + investment/financial analysis experience. Experience in insurance, asset management, wealth management, banking, investment banking, or financial services strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of capital markets, investment products, valuation, financial modeling, and risk management. Experience managing senior stakeholders and advising executive leadership/Boards. Professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, CA, MBA Finance, or equivalent is preferred.
