Purpose
• Reconcile monthly assigned balance sheet accounts
• Preparation of assigned journal entries
• Ensures timely submission of JO entries
• Assist with Tax portfolio
Job Description
• Review coding of all JO & tax payables documents for completeness
• Ensure that documents such as JO, tax etc are approved in compliance with the Manual of Authorities and company policies and entered timely
• Prepare monthly JO entries & send relevant reports to aviation terminals in a timely manner
• Assist with the preparation of GCT calculations, Withholding Tax, Property Tax (annually)recording of GCT payable in ERP systems
• Assist with the preparation of monthly CIT & DIT calculations & recording of journal entries.
• Assist with the timely filing & payment of company’s Annual Tax returns & Estimated Income Tax payment
• Assist in ensuring all compliance matters are addressed & the company is able to renew TCC when required.
• Prepare accounts reconciliations as assigned & monthly Non-Trade reports
• Prepare debit & credit memos for AR transactions
• Provides accounting assistance to the Finance team and external auditors as required
• Assists in resolving discrepancies and outstanding issues on assigned accounts
• Assist accountant with month-end close and any other tasks as requested
• Assist Accountant with special projects requested by Management
• Record all work related injuries, illnesses, hazards and other incidents,
• Support ,participate and comply with all HSE metrics
• Other Duties as assigned

Job Candidate Requirements
• University degree in Accounting and 3 years’ experience or;
• Foundation level of a recognized Accounting qualification (such as ACCA, CGA, etc.) or Association of Accounting Technicians qualification and 3 years’ experience
