Source: LinkedIn Jamaica GROUNDSMAN DUTIES Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the compound using tools such as a weed blower and rake. • Ensure all rubbish is promptly disposed of in designated bins. • Empty bins at the skip daily, ensuring they are ready for use the next day. • Keep the skip area organized and free of debris. • Remove and organize items from branch storage areas as needed. • Perform grass cutting bi-monthly or more frequently if necessary. • Trim and maintain trees and flowers to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the surroundings. • Supply water to administrative and storage buildings as required daily. • Maintain cleanliness in customer areas within our stores as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Exposure to mental stress • Excessive Standing and Lifting • May be required to work beyond normal working hours on occasions. • Required to work on alternate weekends
