(SCHSBM) is seeking an Aviation Recruitment & Admissions Officer to support the continued growth of the SCHSBM Aviation Programme across Barbados, the Caribbean and selected international markets. The Role The Aviation Recruitment & Admissions Officer will coordinate the end-to-end recruitment, admissions and pre-arrival onboarding journey for SCHSBM’s aviation programmes, converting prospective-student interest into qualified applications, completed admissions, accepted offers, paid deposits, registered students and confirmed commencements. The successful candidate will serve as a key relationship contact for prospective students from initial enquiry through arrival and formal handover to the academic and training teams. Key Responsibilities • Executes approved recruitment activities for SCHSBM’s aviation programmes across Barbados, the Caribbean and selected international markets. • Develops and maintains recruitment relationships with secondary schools, sixth-form colleges, tertiary institutions, career guidance professionals, aviation clubs and other approved recruitment partners. • Serves as a key point of contact for prospective aviation students and provides consultative guidance on approved programme routes, entry and selection requirements, programme sequencing, schedules, fees, application steps and relevant travel considerations. • Manages the day-to-day progression of assigned aviation leads and applicants, maintaining accurate Client Relationship Management records and disciplined follow-up throughout the recruitment and admissions journey. • Guides applicants through application and documentation requirements and coordinates progression through assessment, offer, deposit, registration and commencement stages. • Coordinates aviation aptitude assessment scheduling, including the Assessment of Development and Aptitude for Pilot Training (ADAPT), and related applicant communications and follow-up. • Supports regional and international applicants with approved information relating to travel, arrival and pre-arrival requirements. • Supports aviation recruitment activities including webinars, programme briefings, open days, school visits, career fairs, exhibitions and regional or international recruitment engagements. • Monitors recruitment and conversion performance and contributes accurate pipeline, enrolment and revenue information. Qualifications & Experience Candidates should possess: • A Bachelor’s degree (required) in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Higher Education Administration, International Education, Tourism or Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related discipline. • A postgraduate diploma or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline would be advantageous. • Professional certification or formal training in student recruitment, admissions, enrolment management, sales, customer relationship management, customer success or international student advising would be desirable. • CRM platform certification or demonstrated proficiency in HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or an equivalent system would be advantageous. • A professional aviation licence is not required; however, credible knowledge of aviation careers, pilot training pathways and the Commercial Private Licence (CPL) candidate journey is highly desirable. • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ progressively responsible experience in student recruitment, admissions, international education, aviation education, higher education, consultative sales, account management, client success or a related market facing professional environment. • Demonstrated achievement of recruitment, application, conversion, registration, enrolment, sales or revenue-related targets. • Hands-on experience maintaining CRM or applicant-management records and managing pipeline stages, next actions and performance information. • Experience guiding applicants through documentation, assessment, offer, payment and registration processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong capabilities in student recruitment, consultative engagement, relationship management, CRM and pipeline management, admissions coordination and conversion-focused follow-up.
