Hiring company: Airswift Source: LinkedIn Guyana Airswift is recruiting a Project Team Lead for a 2 years project based in Guyana with a leading company in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of milestones within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Project Execution and Management: • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of assigned projects. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, and quality standards. Team Coordination: • Supervise and guide the project team, including engineers, supervisors, and support staff. • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and alignment. • Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within the project team. Stakeholder Communication: • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors regarding project updates. • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and implement solutions. • Prepare and deliver comprehensive progress reports to senior management and clients. Risk Management: • Identify potential risks to project success and implement mitigation strategies. • Monitor project safety, ensuring adherence to HSE standards and regulations. • Respond promptly to issues or delays, adjusting plans as necessary to minimize impact. Performance Monitoring: • Track project performance using key metrics and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. • Monitor resource utilization, optimizing manpower, materials, and equipment. • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Required Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project execution, preferably in an EPC or industrial environment. • Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams. • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.
