What you will do • Monitor vital signs and escalate deterioration according to local protocol. • Follow infection prevention practice on every contact without exception. • Handle handover so the incoming shift inherits an accurate clinical picture. • Manage a clinic list and keep waiting times within agreed targets. • Report incidents and near misses honestly so systems can be improved. • Apply evidence-based guidelines and note when a patient's case departs from them. • Take part in clinical audit and act on what the findings show.
