Senior Production Engineer (Non operating)

Hiring company: Mansource Source: LinkedIn Guyana (Sr) Production Engineer (Non-operating) In this role, you will provide expert production engineering and operations advice to asset teams working on deepwater developments. You will support the optimization of field development and production, with a focus on well start-up, ramp-up, gas lift, flow assurance and well interventions. You will also support major capital projects during the field development and start-up phases. Working closely with Drilling & Completion and Facility Engineering teams, you will provide technical recommendations for complex production and operational challenges. Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical guidance on well start-up/ramp-up, gas lift operations, flow assurance, well interventions and production optimization • Build and apply wellbore and surface network models to support field development and monitor operations • Advise on flow assurance mitigation, including hydrate management, scale and corrosion inhibition and emulsion mitigation • Support production start-up, ramp-up, surveillance, production logging and well optimization activities within major capital projects • Analyze and resolve complex production engineering challenges and provide safe, pragmatic and HSE-compliant operational recommendations Requirements: • Master’s degree in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Deepwater Production Engineering • Proven experience with deepwater well start-up/ramp-up, gas lift, flow assurance, well interventions and production optimization • Experience with production modelling software such as IPM, GAP, PROSPER or PIPESIM, combined with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary offshore/capital project teams
