Hiring company: Brickell Management Group Source: LinkedIn Bahamas About the Role Brickell Management Group is seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and operational supplies across the Group and its affiliated companies. The successful candidate will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, support customs clearance processes, manage shipping documentation, track deliveries, and work closely with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders. This role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing multiple shipments and delivery priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of materials, equipment, and operational supplies. • Schedule and manage shipments with freight forwarders, shipping agents, air cargo providers, and other logistics partners. • Track shipments from origin through final delivery and provide timely status updates to internal stakeholders. • Monitor delivery timelines to ensure materials arrive in accordance with operational and project schedules. • Support the customs clearance process for imported goods and equipment. • Liaise with customs brokers and provide the documentation required to facilitate timely clearance. • Monitor import duties, tariffs, regulatory requirements, and customs-related matters. • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, import permits, and customs documents. • Communicate with international suppliers to confirm shipment readiness and transportation arrangements. • Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding incoming materials, deliveries, and receipt of inventory. • Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies, delays, damages, or customs clearance issues. • Maintain accurate shipment records and logistics tracking logs. • Monitor logistics costs and delivery timelines and prepare status updates and reports for management. • Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce shipping costs. Qualifications & Experience • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, shipping operations, or a related area. • Hands-on experience managing international shipments and customs clearance processes. • Knowledge of shipping documentation and import/export procedures. • Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, international suppliers, and logistics partners. Skills & Competencies • Strong organizational and coordination skills. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. • Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve shipping and logistics issues efficiently. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and familiarity with logistics tracking systems.
