Local Representative - Remote

Hiring company: TAW Recruitment Consultancy Services Source: LinkedIn Jamaica The Local Representative will act as our local point of contact in Jamaica and help our team better understand the market, local culture, customer behaviour, and the overall user experience. This is a flexible role and can generally be combined with another job. You can complete most tasks using a smartphone. Main responsibilities: • Provide feedback about the Jamaican market, local culture and consumer behaviour. • Help us understand how local users perceive and interact with our product. • Test different parts of our website and mobile experience from a Jamaican user's perspective. • Complete simple research and market-checking tasks when requested. • Participate in small product experiments and provide honest feedback on the results. • Test customer journeys such as registration, deposits, withdrawals and other important product flows. • Occasionally record the phone screen or provide screenshots/videos to demonstrate how a particular user journey works from the customer’s side. • Give recommendations regarding localization, payment methods, communication style and other Jamaica-specific aspects of the product. • Be available for communication with our team and respond within a reasonable time when a task or question is sent. Candidate requirements: • 18 years or older. • Currently living in Jamaica. • Good understanding of Jamaican culture, everyday life, and local consumer habits. • Confident smartphone and internet user. • Able to communicate clearly and provide detailed feedback. • Reliable and responsive. • Comfortable carrying out simple online research and testing tasks. • English required; understanding of Jamaican Patois and local communication style is an advantage. • Experience in digital products, marketing, research, fintech, online services or similar areas is an advantage, but not mandatory.
