Job Description What will your role look like in practice? As a Senior Product Designer on ShareGate Migrate, you'll work within a tightly collaborative product trio (PM, Tech Lead, Designer) to shape the experience of a product used in high-impact, operationally critical projects. You'll design solutions that help IT administrators navigate complex migration scenarios with clarity and confidence. Your work spans both strategy and execution: problem definition, journey and interaction design, interface refinement, and rapid iteration based on learnings. You'll thoughtfully explore how AI can enrich the experience—whether by simplifying planning, surfacing relevant insights, or guiding teams through technical decisions. Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end design within your product team, from problem definition through final interaction refinement; • Transform ambiguous or technical journeys into intuitive, useful experiences for IT professionals; • Design journeys, interfaces, and interactions that simplify Microsoft 365 and cloud migration scenarios; • Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and subject matter experts to clarify scope and align strategy; • Prototype, test, and iterate rapidly to validate hypotheses and strengthen solutions; • Use data, customer feedback, and product insights to guide decisions and improve outcomes; • Explore AI-related opportunities to make migration and governance workflows more efficient, predictive, and reliable; • Contribute to improving design practices through new tools, innovations, and methodologies; • Participate in evolving the design system and ensure consistency across the ShareGate experience. What's a typical week? You'll naturally move between strategic exploration, hands-on design, and close collaboration. Concretely, you might: • Contribute to product direction during trio planning and discovery activities; • Translate customer needs and business opportunities into clear journeys, wireframes, and prototypes; • Work with engineering to refine scope, understand constraints, and maintain a high level of design quality throughout development; • Present work in progress to teams and stakeholders during critiques or async reviews; • Analyze migration data, support trends, and user behaviors to inform decisions; • Refine interaction details and ensure clear, consistent handoffs; • Document decisions and communicate the reasoning behind your choices effectively; • Use AI tools to better understand our users and boost your efficiency; • Regularly prototype with AI-assisted tools to communicate, test, and validate solutions.
