Role Description
As a Last Maker, you will be responsible for daily planning, preparation, and production of shoe lasts according to specifications from design and production. You will analyze customer requirements and technical specifications, create precise forms, and adapt existing models to ensure optimal fit and quality. Your responsibilities also include close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams, documenting work steps, and monitoring materials and tools. You will work full-time on-site in the facility and ensure that all manufacturing steps are completed on schedule, efficiently, and according to established standards. This position is an on-site role located in Port of Spain.
Qualifications
• Technical Skills: You have experience in manual and possibly digital last production, safe handling of tools and machines, and precise measurement and form adjustment.
• Technical Understanding: You bring good spatial visualization, basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials science, and quality control.
• Work Organization and Attention to Detail: You work in a structured manner, can plan and document work steps, and consistently ensure accuracy and quality of details.
