Gen Worker III Warehouse

Hiring company: ADM Source: Recruit.net Job Description The General Worker supports terminal operations by performing cleaning, grain intake and load-out activities, equipment monitoring, product rework, and waste removal. The role includes operating the Skid Steer equipment (and Forklifts where applicable), assisting with fumigation processes, and supporting the Mill Supervisor in daily operations. Key Responsibilities: •Cleaning of all machinery and areas in and around the terminal. •Performs tasks specific to the intake of grain •Perform tasks specific to the load out of grains and mill feed •Operate skid steer to load out grain from flat storage •Maintain a clean and tidy work area •Re-work of products (spills and returns) and removal of waste from the terminal. •Assist in the preparation for and application of fumigation. •Assist in the monitoring of machines and reporting abnormal conditions. •Ensure compliance with the collective agreement, GMP’s, Health & Safety, HACCP, quality, fumigation, and other company policies and procedures. •Assist the Mill Supervisor in the execution of their duties. •Wear recommended personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas. Qualifications/Skills/Experience •Completion of Secondary School education. •A minimum of one (1) year’s work-related experience. •Basic computer literacy. •Good communications, customer service, and interpersonal skills. •Must be organized, motivated, and a team player. •Work well under pressure. •Proficiency with Forklifts and Skid Steer will be an asset •Strong commitment to safety •Willingness to work shifts, overtime and weekends, as required. •Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.
