Engineer: Bridge/Structural Department

Source: LinkedIn Barbados Bridge/Structural Engineer (5–10 Years Experience) Commonwealth Engineers & Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated and qualified Bridge/Structural Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our Bridge and Structures Design Group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of bridge and structural design, including: • Preliminary and final design of bridges and structures • Structural detailing using AutoCAD • Bridge inspections and condition assessments • Specification development • Preparation of contract documents • Coordination with other disciplines, including highway design, traffic engineering, and permitting • Support of project delivery from concept through construction Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering • Rhode Island Professional Engineering License or have the ability to obtain within six months of employment. • 5–10 years of relevant bridge and/or structural engineering experience • Proficiency with AutoCAD • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality Why Join Commonwealth Engineers & Consultants?
