Purpose
The Manager, Deposit and Investment Products is responsible for managing and enhancing deposit and investment products across the Caribbean, ensuring product performance, profitability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the Bank's strategic objectives. The role drives the successful execution of product initiatives, monitors market trends and competitive activity, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the client experience and support business growth.
Key Accountabilities
• Drive the development and execution of strategic product initiatives, including product enhancements, pricing strategies, value proposition development, and new product launches.
• Monitor product performance and key business metrics, identifying opportunities, risks, and corrective actions to improve business results and client outcomes.
• Manage and optimize the deposit and investment product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives, client needs, and profitability targets.
• Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify trends, assess product positioning, and support business growth strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, distribution channels, and key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of product initiatives.
• Lead pricing reviews and profitability initiatives, including fee revisions and recommendations to enhance competitiveness, revenue growth, and portfolio performance.
• Ensure product initiatives comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
• Support continuous improvement through market intelligence, best practice sharing, and identification of opportunities for product innovation.
Qualification/Experience/Other
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Banking, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Management Studies, or a related discipline.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field would be considered an asset.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in banking, financial services, product management, product development, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience managing deposit, investment, or other retail banking products.
• Strong experience in data analysis, performance reporting, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Fluency in English, with excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong project and change management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
