Hiring company: Transformational Consulting Group Source: LinkedIn Bahamas The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that require audio visual services. This role ensures seamless delivery of technical and logistical elements across corporate events, conferences, and live shows. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution from initial inquiry to post-event wrap- up • Liaise with clients to understand event requirements, timelines, and technical needs • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure equipment and staffing alignment • Prepare event documentation including run-of-show, proposals, etc. • Liaise with vendors for necessary events, including venues, suppliers, and external contractors • Conduct site visits and pre event walkthroughs to assess technical requirements and scope of work • Oversee on site event execution, ensuring timelines are met and issues are resolved promptly • Provide post-event reporting and support continuous improvement efforts Qualifications & Experience • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 1–4 years of experience in event coordination, preferably within AV, production, or live events • Experience in an organized, administrative role Key Skills & Competencies • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office along with experience with event or project management tools is a plus • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Working Conditions • Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules • Frequent on-site work at event venues • May require being on feet for extended periods What Success Looks Like in This Role • Events are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction • Clear and effective communication across clients and internal teams • Minimal last-minute issues due to proactive planning • Strong relationships with clients and vendors
