Hiring company: Airswift Source: LinkedIn Guyana Airswift is seeking a Communications Specialist (only local candidates) to work at Georgetown- Guyana, at a company in the region. The professional will be responsible for the planning, creation, and execution of internal and external communications. Job Responsibilities Develop and produce communication materials—including articles, newsletters, presentations, speeches, press releases, brochures, and multimedia content. Coordinate internal communications by drafting employee announcements, intranet content, campaigns, and engagement initiatives that foster awareness, safety, organizational culture, and collaboration. Coordinate corporate events and engagement activities, overseeing logistics, branding, vendors, promotional materials, photography, and post-event communications. Create and maintain an organized, standardized library of communication assets, including photos, videos, templates, corporate presentations, promotional materials, and branding resources. Develop content highlighting topics such as Local Content, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment), employee achievements, and business initiatives for internal and external audiences, ensuring accuracy, securing necessary approvals, and tailoring messaging to the target audience. Monitor and report metrics related to media coverage, digital engagement, campaign performance, and event results; maintain communication records and databases; and provide insights to optimize strategy and execution. Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism. Experience in corporate communication, public relations, media relations, journalism, or a related field. Proven ability to write and edit high-quality communication materials, including press releases, speeches, newsletters, reports, and digital content.
