Duties include: • Surveillance and patrol of property • Escort Guest and employees as requested • Respond to emergency calls • Completes incident reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses, obtaining signatures. • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. • Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations • Evacuating guests in the event of a fire or another emergency and o btain help by sounding alarms. • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as required. • Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed. Qualifications • 5 CXC passes inclusive of English - Grade 3 and above • 2 years security experience • Keen observation skills • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast past environment • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including overnight, holidays and weekends • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills • Must be able to work in teams • Excellent problem solving skills. • Well-groomed, professional appearance. • Physically agile, ability to stand or long periods or walk moderate distances • Must be fully vaccinated
