Offshore Nurse- Guyana

Start date 20th August This role serves as the on-site medical authority, providing clinical assessment, emergency stabilization, patient management, and medical evacuation coordination for workforce personnel. The Medic ensures full clinic readiness, regulatory compliance, accurate medical reporting, and close collaboration with client EHS and operations teams while promoting workforce health, safety, and wellness in accordance with project Scope of Work (SOW) and international standards. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Required to look after on-board clinic, assist Doctor, ensure crew welfare is well maintained • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, examinations, and ongoing patient monitoring • Act as on-site medical lead during emergencies and coordinate medevac and patient transfers • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using RMI EHR systems • Ensure clinic readiness, including medical equipment, medicines, and consumables • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment checks and controlled substance management • Report medical treatments, case classifications, and notifiable diseases per client and regulatory requirements • Liaise directly with client EHS, operations teams, and global medical coordination centers • Conduct workforce medical inductions, Fit-to-Work assessments, and health surveillance • Administer drug & alcohol screening and immunization programs as required • Deliver first-aid training, emergency drills, and health promotion initiatives • Ensure compliance with RHCP Guidelines, RCM, MERP, FOM, and SOW requirements ________________________________________ Qualifications Guyana Nursing Licence BOSIET BLS/CPR, ACLS OEUK medical certification
