This individual serves as the primary administrative point of contact for therapy patients, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through ongoing treatment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, empathetic, comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional patient care. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. Responsibilities: • Answer phone calls and route inquiries appropriately • Schedule, confirm and modify appointments using our EMR system • Verify insurance information and collect copays • Communicate efficiently with therapists, patients, and other staff • Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Qualifications: • Previous experience in a medical receptionist role working directly with therapists preferred • Experience in psychiatry or behavioral health • Proficient with electronic medical records and general computer skills • Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills within a remote environment • Professional appearance/demeanor • Experience working in a fastpaced administrative environment • Strong computer proficiency Success in This Role:The Ideal candidate is someone who: • Enjoys helping patients and providing outstanding customer service. • Can confidently manage a high volume of phone calls and appointment scheduling. • Thrives in a fastpaced, remote environment. • Pays close attention to detail and follows processes consistently. • Communicates professionally with patients, therapists, and other team members. • Takes initiative and is comfortable solving problems independently.
