THE ROLE | The Team Lead – Non-Motor Claims provides technical oversight and leadership of the non-motor claims unit. The role is responsible for negotiating settlements at a senior level with insureds and third-party claimants promptly, efficiently, and equitably, in accordance with contract conditions, while delivering required reports and supporting projects that advance the Company’s objectives.
THE PERSON | To be the ideal candidate you must have:
• Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience in the General Insurance Industry
• Three (3) years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher-level qualification in insurance and risk management, business management, or an equivalent field; CII Diploma in Insurance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Good understanding of Property and Casualty policies, Court procedures and civil procedure rules.
• Ability to work across locations and jurisdictions as required for business purposes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
