Hiring company: First Citizens Source: LinkedIn Trinidad & Tobago Job Summary The incumbent is responsible for sales and marketing, monitoring operational deficiencies and disseminating information throughout the Unit. Ensures that there is an action plan to reduce the occurrence of fraud-related incidents. He/She will also assist with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, projects, audits and with the enhancements of products, processes, procedures, and budgets. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Ensures the growth of Corporate business and contributes to the Unit's profitability. • Leads marketing strategy development of the Unit's products and services by engaging in and making Marketing Calls (visits, telephone, email, business associations), Networking & Referrals and attending Seminars & Conferences • Overall responsibility for ensuring that all conditions of lending and legal process are completed accurately and in a timely manner • Oversees the submission of accurate and comprehensive credit proposals to Executive Management and/ or Board Credit Committee for approval • Leads the Private Sector Team to achieve growth and profitability targets set for the unit • Leads the team to ensure the provision of high-quality and timely service to existing and potential customers. • Overall responsibility for training and development of Portfolio Managers and Senior Analysts for succession in the sub-unit. • Maintains a regular Call Programme on existing customers to ensure effective management, retention and expansion of each banking relationship • Develops Performance Targets and provide strategic input into the marketing and business plans designed to develop new business opportunities with the view of maximizing profits and increasing product market share • Ensures that the Bank's image is well received and maintained at all times • Reviews and liaises with officers attached to the business development unit of First Citizens Bank (Barbados) and Costa Rica Rep Office on Credit Proposals • Manages human resources necessary for the efficient and professional operation of the company • Manages and maintains good relationships with all stakeholders. • Performs all other duties, assignments and special projects assigned by the Board of Directors and Senior Qualifications and Experience • Candidate must possess a First degree and post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline from a reputable University or other professional qualification from a recognized professional body e.g. CFA, CIMA, ACCA and a minimum of seven (7) years’ progressive experience in a relevant industry, with at least five (5) of which must be at the Managerial level Or • A First degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of management experience in a relevant industry, with a successful track record of performance.
