Job Description As a Senior Cloud/DevOps Specialist, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructures and platform solutions with a high degree of autonomy. You make technical decisions independently, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational standards and SRE objectives. In this role, you lead complex projects, contribute to infrastructure, observability, and operational process improvements, and mentor team members. You collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business and operational needs. Key Responsibilities • Infrastructure Leadership: Design and autonomously maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Platform Standardization: Define and evolve standards, guidelines, and best practices for cloud deployments and architectures. • Reliability Excellence: Implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and error budgets to ensure system performance and health. • Technical Assessment: Analyze and advise on new technologies, procurement options, and architectural proposals in alignment with SRE objectives. • Resource Optimization: Analyze resource utilization and implement cost optimization practices and FinOps initiatives. • Mentorship: Support and guide team members, sharing best practices to strengthen collective technical capabilities. • Continuous Improvement: Identify process or tool gaps and propose concrete solutions to improve platform efficiency. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience • 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, or related technical domains • Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (ideally Azure) and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, Ansible, etc. • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and deployment strategies for complex systems • Solid understanding of networking, RBAC, security best practices, and cloud architectures • Proficiency with observability tools such as ELK, Azure Monitor, or equivalents, as well as operational excellence practices • Proven experience implementing containerization solutions (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, etc.) for complex systems • Ability to make technical decisions autonomously while balancing technical debt and delivery quality • Advanced proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, .Net, or equivalents • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in both French and English Additional Information What We Offer: • Remote work and flexibility (work-life balance). • RRSP contributions. • Comprehensive group insurance from day one. • Paid time off: 3 weeks + 1 week between Christmas and New Year's. • Annual training allocation ($1,500) to support your professional development. • Onboarding program to familiarize you with our environment and digital health domain. • Computer equipment is provided, along with other equipment as needed. • Internal growth opportunities (promotions, internal mobility). • Support from a wellness and social committee, with initiatives promoting team cohesion, mental health, and employee well-being. • A company culture focused on transparency, collaboration, and innovation. • Join a dynamic and innovative environment where your work has concrete and large-scale impact, contributing to modernizing healthcare delivery in Canada and internationally.
