IT Administrator (m/w/d) Windows Server & Virtualisierung

To strengthen a long-term digitalization and infrastructure project at a renowned institution in the environment & infrastructure sector, we are looking for several experienced IT administrators (m/w/d) at our Bonn location. The project assignment starts on September 1, 2026 and is designed as a long-term engagement of 18–24 months. You can expect a modern enterprise environment with complex IT infrastructures, current server and virtualization technologies, and responsible tasks in the operation and further development of security-critical systems. What awaits you: • Processing customer inquiries and incidents in 1st and 2nd level support • Analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation in the ticketing system • Management of complex server and IT infrastructures in a managed services environment • Collaboration with specialized teams in Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix areas • Support in second and third level support • Technical consulting and user support What sets you apart: • Several years of experience in IT support or system administration • Very good knowledge in at least one of the following areas: • Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory (DNS & DHCP), Exchange, MS-SQL Server) • Linux server systems such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, SUSE Linux Enterprise • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix) • Experience with server systems, hardware, and configuration • Storage solutions (e.g., Fujitsu ETERNUS Storage product family, IBM TSM) • Backup & security (e.g., Veeam, Veritas) • Virus & malware systems for servers and clients such as Trend Micro DeepSecurity & ScanMail • Structured and solution-oriented working approach Your benefits: • An attractive annual salary of up to €65,000–75,000 • Opportunity for hybrid work • Participation in long-term digitalization and infrastructure projects in the public environmental sector • Exciting opportunity to gain insights into complex and security-critical IT landscapes • We offer Wellhub (formerly Gympass) to support your health • Attractive extras – employee discounts and corporate benefits with numerous partners Please send us your application directly (resume and available references) via our application portal.
