To strengthen our planning team, we're looking for you as: Specialist Engineer Building Physics (m/w/d) We are RSE+ Architekten Ingenieure: 100 interdisciplinary colleagues. 55 years of successful projects. 3 locations: Kassel, Stuttgart, Göttingen. Projects nationwide, renowned clients. Responsibilities • Delivery of planning and consulting services in building physics according to HOAI and AHO • Execution of building physics calculations and simulations according to GEG and DIN 18599 in the areas of thermal insulation, energy efficiency, sound insulation, room acoustics, and moisture protection • Building physics inspection of existing buildings and development of renovation and modernization concepts • Creation of building component catalogs in coordination with our planning teams and building requirements • Support in sustainability consulting, building certifications, and lifecycle assessments • Support and guidance in preparing funding applications • Explanation of building physics matters to clients and other project stakeholders • Establishment of a Sustainability Department at RSE+. Qualifications • Completed engineering degree in building physics with 5 to 10 years of professional experience in planning and consulting services in thermal insulation, sound insulation, and moisture protection • Experience with complex industrial buildings and modernization of existing buildings • Secure knowledge of applicable regulations and standards, particularly the Building Energy Act • Good expertise in building simulation, thermal bridge calculation, assessment of summer thermal protection, building acoustics calculation, and room acoustics modeling • Independent organizational ability for planning and project workflows and structures • Fluent German language skills • Willingness to travel to our locations and client sites, plus a high degree of flexibility • Pronounced communication and coordination skills and enjoyment of constructive collaboration with the team, relevant authorities, and clients • Team spirit plus independent, engaged, and conscientious work style round out your profile.
