Senior Analytics Engineer

What your day-to-day will look like at idwall: • Model and evolve analytical tables, considering business context, security, privacy, performance, and data quality; • Build and optimize transformations that make data available efficiently and aligned with the company's strategic needs; • Navigate complex problems and ambiguous environments with autonomy, conduct high-impact analyses, and identify improvement opportunities by proposing innovative solutions that actively contribute to the company's strategy; • Work collaboratively with data scientists and engineers to define the best analytical solutions and drive the continuous evolution of our data platform. To take on this role, you need to have the following skills: • Deep experience in analytical data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault, OBT/Wide Tables); • Proven track record of creating high-impact data products in challenging business contexts; • Mastery of relational databases and advanced SQL query writing, including window function techniques; • Proficiency with dbt (data build tool) for data modeling and governance; • Experience manipulating and transforming semi-structured (nested) or unstructured data; • Experience with some data visualization tool for building dashboards and data exploration solutions; • Strong experience in data analysis with Python; • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines with high volume and complexity, with attention to dependency management; The following will be considered differentiators: • Experience in high-availability environments and delivery of data critical to business operations; • Query optimization skills and application of partitioning and efficient data organization techniques; • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow or similar); • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and code review.
