Day-to-Day as a Senior Backend Developer at Cora • Define with the development and product team the best ways to build solutions that improve every day; • Prioritize the quality of what will be developed; • Deeply understand the behavior of the customer who will use the developed tool. Who We're Looking For • Our challenge—and yours too, if you decide to apply—is to build maintainable, scalable, observable, resilient, and secure systems. • Maintain and evolve our applications, as well as build new products and applications. • Here you'll be encouraged to: • Learn new technologies and tools; • Share your opinions and participate in solution design from architecture to implementation and operation; • Perform technical assessment in task prioritization; • Gain experience with distributed systems, asynchronous communication (messaging), high availability, and production troubleshooting; • Write code with fluency and maintainability; • Work closely with the data team and other areas the product relates to. • Have the ability to create applications, architectures, tools, and solutions to solve diverse problems. What We Expect From You: • A communicative person who adds value to the team and shares your opinions, ideas, and questions; • Previous experience as a Back-End Developer; • Knowledge of Java and Kotlin; • Basic knowledge of infrastructure tools; • Knowledge of databases; • Architecture patterns and Design Patterns; • Experience with RESTful APIs; • Basic knowledge of asynchronous communication between services; • Ability to produce clean and easily maintainable code; • Unit and automated testing; • Experience with Git; • Knowledge of microservices development; Differentiators: • Knowledge of Go; • Knowledge of Python; • Knowledge of AI tools in product workflows; Cora's Culture We foster an entrepreneurial spirit and value those who take ownership and live our Culture daily.
